Uncertain, Texas

Uncertain is a small hunting and fishing town on Caddo Lake in east Texas. With a population of 94, the economy relies on tourist coming to town for hunting and fishing - staying in the few bed and breakfasts, hiring local guides and eating at the lone restaurant. Locals have had duck blinds on the lake for hundreds of years which they rent out to visitors, but the Texas Department of Parks and Wildlife is looking to force residents to remove their duck blinds, citing a safety concern, in a move that could cripple the local way of life.
